I’ve been unwell and busy so not managed to post for #30DaysWild but I did manage to enjoy some wild places in Leicestershire over the weekend, including Stoney Cove, a deep lake created from a disused quarry. #30dayswild2022 #30dayswildchallenge #30dayswildchallenge2022
Day 15 of #30DaysWild, eating lunch in the garden, enjoying the oak tree and the singing birds. #30dayswild2022 #30dayswildchallenge #30dayswildchallenge2022
Day 12 of #30DaysWild, on my walk I found a moth I haven’t seen before! I think it is a burnet companion moth (let me know if I’m wrong!) #30dayswild2022 #30dayswildchallenge #30dayswildchallenge2022
A very wild Day 11 for #30DaysWild! 🌷We helped Cardiff Naturalists Group survey Howardian Local Nature Reserve in Cardiff. Saw so many species and learnt so much from the experts in the group. The highlight for me was seeing my first ever bee orchid! I must admit I didn’t realise how small they are! It was also lovely to see common spotted and southern marsh orchids. #30dayswild2022 #30dayswildchallenge #30dayswildchallenge2022
