Big shoutout to @bootsuk for their plastic-free zero waste wax ear plugs! Natural wax in cardboard. They even came in a recycled cardboard box 📦 printed with eco-friendly ink. As an insomniac with sensitive hearing and a partner who breathes like Darth Vader, I’ve been searching for zero waste ear plugs for a long time! So happy to have discovered these. #bootsrecycleready
Did you know it's #NationalTreeWeek? A time to celebrate trees and all they do for us. This year @woodlandtrust has organised the #bigclimatefightback to encourage everyone to plant a tree to help tackle climate change. Check out their website for tree planting events you can join. Or plant a tree in your garden! . . . . #everytreecounts #treecharter #treecharterday #standupfortrees #trees #oaktree #oak #autumn #autumnleaves #fall #autumncolours #climatechange #climatecrisis #climateemergency #woodlandtrust #savetheplanet #ecowarrior #greenlifestyleblogger #greenlifestyleblog #ecobloggers #ecoblogger #outdoorsbloggers #natureblogger #wildlifeblogger #treehugger #lovetrees #savewildlife #lovetheplanet

Today our plans to visit Forest Farm Nature Reserve were derailed by two road closures, stuck in traffic for nearly an hour and Google maps taking us in circles. So we admitted defeat and headed to the closest park we could find which was Roath Park in Cardiff. And what a discovery! It's dominated by a large lake full of wildlife, surrounded by gorgeous trees. Swans, geese, coots, moorhens, black-headed gulls, jackdaws, pigeons and all kinds of ducks. One end of the park is an arboretum filled with huge trees, species from all over the world. It was a perfect time to visit with autumn colour flourishing. I loved it, can't wait to visit again! . . . #roath #roathparklake #roathpark #park #parklife #autumn #fall #lake #walesphotography #cardiff #wildcardiff #wildwales #welshwildlife #southwales #lovecardiff #lovewales #visitwales #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #natureblogger #wildlifeblogger #naturelovers #getoutside #wildlife #lovewildlife #365dayswild #wild #outdoorsbloggers #conservationcommitted #urbanwildlife
Two fallow deer we spotted this time last year at the lovely Old Sulehay nature reserve in Cambridgeshire. The only time I've managed to capture a photo of wild deer! I was very lucky to grow up near a wood where I saw herds of deer and solitary stags regularly. It's only now I realise how privileged I was to get so many close encounters with these secretive creatures. . . . #deer #fallowdeer #doe #bambi #wildlifephotography #naturephotography #natureblogger #wildlifeblogger #ukwildlife #britishwildlife #naturelovers #getoutside #wildlife #lovewildlife #365dayswild #wild #outdoorsbloggers #nature #springwatch #earthcapture #ukwildlifeimages #conservationcommitted #urbanwildlife #savewildlife #autumn #fall #ungulatesofinstagram #ungulate #oldsulehay #naturereserve
